Blackstone Industries proudly stands as the preeminent Surface Finishing job shop in Mexico, distinguished by its unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality Copper, Nickel, and Trivalent Chrome (Cr3) plating services. Complementing this, we boast the largest “A” Class Polishing capacity across the entirety of Mexico. Notably, we are the sole plating operation in Mexico equipped to offer high-volume, precisely polished stainless steel with Nickel and Trivalent Chrome, meeting the exacting standards set by the Stellantis PS 500024 plating specification.
Our large 128,000 square feet facility, strategically located in the Parque Industrial de Piedras Negras, is situated 5 miles from the Eagle Pass, TX border. This strategically positioned facility, with ample expansion opportunities, benefits from an exceptional electrical capacity of up to 4000 KVA and a reliable water source from the nearby Rio Grande River – a distinct advantage in comparison to many counterparts in Mexico.
Two state-of-the-art high-volume plating lines define our commitment to excellence. Our ongoing Cr3 line modification project includes the installation of five new hoists and cutting-edge automation software. Expected to be operational by Q1 2024, this upgrade will enable us to produce approximately 10 loads per hour of the stainless Cr3 process sequence, significantly elevating our efficiency and quality control measures.

Line 1 (Automated, Q1 2024)
- Cu, Ni, Cr3, or Cr6 Process Sequence on Steel and Stainless Steel.
- Tanks: 86″ and 58″ deep, plating window of 14″.
- Random software capable of 90 loads per shift.
Line 2 Manual Operated
- Operates Cu, Ni, Cr6 on steel substrates.
- Tanks: 96″ by 42″ deep, plating window of 14″.
- Capable of 60-70 loads per shift of duplex Nickel-Chrome.
